YOU ARE WORTHY!
Let me be truly blunt with you all. There was a time in my life when I felt like I was unworthy. Like I did not meet some type of unwritten standard for God’s love. I am sure most of you have felt this way. The World tells us to feel this way. We must fully understand that God love us unconditionally always and forever. And he wants us in his eternal family, yes YOU!
How do we know God love us? Well one of the many ways he showed he loves us is when he gave up his son to death, so that we may live. John 3:16 states this, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
How awesome does it feel to know someone loved you so much that they died for you (YES EVERYONE READING THIS). Yes, Jesus Christ did not just die for a select few he died for everyone. Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates in his own love toward us that while we were sinners, Christ died for us.” Yes, we make mistakes, but he still gave us the gift of eternal life.
We can also take notice that God will fight for us day in and day out. Exodus 14:14 has this to say about this, “The Lord will fight for you; you only need to be still.” God promises us that he will do whatever it takes for us to live his way of life and be in his family forever.
Some other reminders <3:
1 Peter 5:6-7 “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”
Romans 5:1-5 “Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the Glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulation, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, character, and character of hope. Now hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
1 John 4:19 “We love because He first loved us.”
Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ; It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life which now in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
We should feel a sense of purpose that because Jesus died for us, we can learn to live God’s way every day. We can live eternally with Him because He loves us enough to give up his physical body. At times it will be hard to tell yourself you are worth it, but try and remember John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son…” God wants us to live with his love engraved in our hearts, forever! NEVER EVER FORGET: HE LOVES YOU SO MUCH AND YOU ARE WORTH IT!
